Welcome to our Q2-26 Aquis Stock Exchange Newsletter

As we move into the second half of 2026, we reflect on a busy and high energy Q2. The AQSE team have packed out our events calendar to connect and expand our ecosystem from the Master Investor Show to the Small Cap Awards; speaking to issuers, investors, prospects and advisers and hearing first-hand how the year is shaping up.
A particular highlight was welcoming the inaugural cohort of the Aquis IPO Academy at our reception in London. Meeting the high calibre of founders joining the programme was a real reminder of why we built it. The cohort kicks off in September, and we can't wait to see what they achieve.
Our numbers are also looking good: £53.9m traded across 15k trades, £15.4m raised, and 7 fundraises exceeding £1m. Let's hope to continue this momentum in Q3!
We’ve also moved! We’re now based with our colleagues at SIX in London. We’re excited to be working with the wider SIX group on a multitude of projects to better serve our ecosystem. Come and say hi when you’re next in the City, our door is always open.
There is plenty more to come in the second half of the year, including the Aquis Showcase, which will be returning for its 5th year on the 3rd of November with an exciting new format. Early rounds will move to a digital format, with company presentations released throughout October ahead of a live in-person semi-final and final at a new venue in November. Don't forget, our Summer Drinks are on the 16th of September at the Apex City of London Hotel. We'd love to see you there!

Events

Master Investor Show (April):
We had a great time at the Master Investor Show this year. Co-Head of Business Development, Sara-Louise Porter, joined an Investor Hub hosted panel on the Showcase Stage alongside Sterling Digital Plc, Falconedge Plc, and Edison Group discussing investor engagement, capital markets, and what going public looks like today. Our stand remained busy throughout the day - it was fantastic to connect with so many investors, founders, and growth companies in one place.
The Exit and Beyond with Female Founders Rise (April):
In partnership with Female Founders Rise, we co-hosted an evening for 80 female founders in London focused on exits; the financial preparation, handling changing responsibilities, and what comes after including an IPO! The conversations were fascinating as the different options were dissected and discussed. A timely reminder that an IPO can itself form part of an exit strategy, and that public markets are worth putting on the radar early.
Bitcoin Treasuries Unconference (May):
We were proud to sponsor the inaugural Bitcoin Treasuries Unconference UK in Bristol, hosted by The Smarter Web Company. It was a lively day of open discussion on decentralised finance, regulation, and the role of digital assets in public markets, exactly the kind of forward-looking conversation we want to be part of. Our Chairman, Danny Lopez, opened the day with an inspiring speech reminding the room of AQSE’s synergies with new, challenger and nimble businesses (watch here). It was a pleasure to catch up with several of our issuers, Falconedge, B HODL, Stack BTC and Connecting Excellence and we thoroughly enjoyed their panel contributions.
SIX Capital Markets Day (May):
The Swiss Capital Markets Day in London brought together private companies, businesses listed across SIX markets, and institutional and private investors. Aquis’s CEO, David Stevens, spoke alongside Fabian Gerber, Head of Origination at SIX on the growing relationship between SIX and Aquis and the opportunities ahead for primary markets across both jurisdiction and Sulnox closed the event with a well-received presentation.
Small Cap Awards (June):
It was an enjoyable evening at the Small Cap Awards. Shepherd Neame took home the AQSE Company of the Year award, well-deserved recognition of their consistent growth. Beyond the awards themselves, it was a brilliant reminder of the collective ambition behind the UK small cap market, and great to share a table with some brilliant names from our community: IntelliAM, Ajax Resources, Sulnox, Shepherd Neame, and OAK Securities.
IPO Academy Welcome Drinks (June):
We were delighted to host a welcome reception in London for partners and some of our successful applicants to the Aquis IPO Academy. Spanning consumer and lifestyle, deep tech, infrastructure, and virtual reality, the businesses in attendance represent some of the most exciting growth companies in the UK today.
