The Aquis Showcase returned for its fourth year in 2025, bringing together some of Britain’s most exciting growth companies to compete, over the day, for two prestigious awards - The Judges Prize and The Audience “Retail Choice” award.
Over three quick-fire rounds, 11 companies on the Aquis Stock Exchange pitched their case in eight minutes or less, to an audience of 200+ investors and others from the capital markets ecosystem, as well as an expert judging panel of Eustace Santa-Barbara (Canaccord Genuity), Lisa Fox (Guiness Ventures), Sam Barton (TrinityBridge) and Alex Newman (Investors’ Chronicle).
The 11 were narrowed down to a final four of Equipmake Holdings , B HODL, IntelliAM AI, and The Smarter Web Company. They then faced questioning on stage from the judging panel and got one last chance to impress the audience.

Congratulations to the 2025 winners –
IntelliAM AI (The Judges Prize), who impressed the judges with a great presentation and a clear explanation of their growth opportunities. IntelliAM uses AI to analyse manufacturing data in real time, helping factories predict equipment failure and improve productivity. The judges commented that it was great to see a small UK company tackling and winning in a global marketplace.
There was also a special commendation for Sulnox from the judges, who impressed with the commercial traction they have gained with their Sulnox Eco product, which helps liquid hydrocarbon fuels burn more cleanly and efficiently.
B HODL (the Retail Choice award) narrowly beat off fierce competition from the other finalists to walk with the other prize on day by collecting the most audience votes. They clearly impressed the audience with their dual strategy of building a Bitcoin treasury alongside running Lightning Network nodes to route Bitcoin transactions.
A big thank you to the other companies that participated – Ajax Resources, Incanthera, Inqo Investments, Newbury Racecourse, Oberon Investments, Time TO ACT and Valereum Plc.
A further thanks to economist Simon French (Panmure Liberum), who was our guest speaker on the day, outlining his thoughts on the UK economy from a global context and some specific insights for UK smaller growth companies.
A new addition this year was the Rising Star section. This section saw four ambitious female founded private businesses, considering an IPO as a pathway for growth, present to the audience. Four great presentations from Bang Curry, Hey Savi, Kore Labs, and Maanch.
The Aquis Showcase 2025 was delivered in partnership with Investors Chronicle, Barclays, UK Investor Group, Laytons ETL, PKF Littlejohn LLP, Edison Group, Equiniti Group, InvestorHub, Cairn Financial Advisers, First Sentinel Corporate Finance, Guild Financial Advisory & AlbR Capital Limited.
